1. Information We Collect

  • Customer phone numbers (used for sending WhatsApp messages)
  • Message content (order confirmations, invoices, promotional messages, etc.)
  • WhatsApp API credentials (stored securely within Odoo configuration)
  • API response logs for technical debugging

Note: We do not store or process this data outside your Odoo environment.

2. Use of Information

The collected data is used strictly to:

  • Send automated or manual WhatsApp messages via Meta WhatsApp Business API
  • Log delivery or failure responses for audit/debugging
  • Improve user experience and reliability of the communication process

3. Data Storage and Security

  • All sensitive credentials (e.g., access tokens) are stored securely in Odoo database fields with restricted access.
  • No data is shared with third-party services other than Meta's official WhatsApp Cloud API endpoint.

As the App user and system administrator, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring that WhatsApp messages comply with applicable laws and Meta's policies

  • Securing your API credentials and access to the Odoo system

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party. All communication happens directly between your server and Meta’s WhatsApp Cloud API.

6. User Rights

As a business using this App:

  • You can update or delete your API credentials at any time.
  • You can stop using the module and uninstall it at any time.
  • You may contact us if you require assistance with data access or removal within your instance.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in features or legal requirements. Updated versions will be reflected in the module repository or distribution.
